Living is a form of not being sure, not knowing what next or how.
The moment you know how, you begin to die a little.
The artist never entirely knows. We guess.
We may be wrong, but we take LEAP after LEAP in the dark.

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master,
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same.

I shut my eyes in order to see.

Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass.
It’s about learning to dance in the rain.

Jacqueline Dubbins is a California girl through-and-through.

If she were a color combination she would be:

Her favorite jazz singer is Diana Krall. Her favorite photographer is surrealist Chema Madoz. She has an obsession for Minnetonka Moccasins, as they can be paired with any outfit. You can count on her gas tank being full, as you never know when the sound of a distant drum is calling. An LA native, Jacqueline enjoys the outdoors, traveling, scouring for vintage fashion accessories – and if she’s not on assignment – you might find her sitting at the counter of Apple Pan… with LA’s finest burger in hand.

As a multi-disciplinary Creative Director and Designer, Jacqueline Dubbins’ work lies at the intersection of brand development, design, and fine art. She has found her voice working for luxury lifestyle brands, with an underlying socially-conscious mindset. Upon graduating from USC’s Roski School of Fine Art (with an emphasis in painting and design), Jacqueline has been directing creative initiatives for TOMS, HauteLook, the LA Philharmonic, and Everything But the House (to name a few). She served as Art Director at Inside Weddings Magazine, spearheading its digital presence — and has freelanced with a number of highly esteemed publications including LA Magazine, Variety, and C Magazine. Launching her career in entertainment advertising — Jacqueline concepted digital creative initiatives for film + television, working at industry powerhouses Big Picture Group, And Company, and CBS Interactive. Her portfolio has received recognition on numerous industry websites and has been esteemed with Promax BDA awards in design and art direction.

Jacqueline continues to live and work in Los Angeles.
